Bvlgari launches Le Gemme, a new collection of luxury perfumes inspired by precious gems and their historical trade routes. The collection consists of six fragrances: Lilaia, Ashlemah, Amarena, Noorah, Maravilla, and Calaluna. All fragrances were developed by perfumer Daniela Andrier. Ashlemah (amethyst) includes notes of lavender, violet and heliotrope. Noorah (turquoise) including notes of galbanum, cardamom, iris, benzoin, tobacco, oak, oil, patchouli and vanilla.
Amarena (tourmaline) offers a blend of sensual tuberose and powdery rose accords.
Lilaia (peridot; shown) mixes mastic, mint, orange and mate.
Maravilla (citrine), a chypre concept of rich citruses, fruity notes of peach, jasmine, patchouli and acethyvenol.
Calaluna (moonstone) contains sandalwood, cardamom, heliotrope, amber and pear accents.
The Bvlgari Le Gemme fragrances are packaged in bottles sizes ranging from 30 ml to 350 ml, inspired by ancient Greek and Roman amphora, representing different gem. The price for a bottle of 100 ml will range from 280 Euros ($381). The collection will first be available on the shelves of perfumeries in Europe and Asia, and from February 2015 in the U.S. as well.
