No more waiting in the drive-thru to pick up your favorite McCafe coffee. McDonald’s announced that it will begin selling its own packaged coffee soon in supermarkets in early 2015. The coffee will come in flavors that are available at McDonald’s locations, including French vanilla and hazelnut as well as “premium roast.” McDonald’s will also offer coffee pods for use in Keurig machines. The main reason is McDonald’s efforts to increase its profit through selling coffee at its restaurants across United States.
If successful, it will be extended worldwide and will give a new option to coffee lovers. This came from the collaboration with Kraft, which previously worked for distributing Gevalia coffee, as well as Starbucks coffee in grocery stores.
So, very soon all coffee lovers will enjoy McCafe premium coffee in the comfort and convenience of their own homes.
