Real estates transaction among celebrities are so often these days. Meg Ryan splashed out $8 million for Hank Azaria’s New York City’s loft, and now Vince Vaughn bought a Hollywood Hills West home from Kate Bosworth. Comic actor paid $2.375 million for a 2,890-square-feet single-family house. Set at the end of a long gated driveway, the updated home was built in 1955 and sits on more than half an acre. It comprises of three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.
Interiors feature dark hardwood flooring, soaring beamed ceilings and an open floor plan. There’s also a formal living area with a fireplace, a dining area, a modern kitchen with custom cabinets and a breakfast bar, the master suite, an office and a family room.
Exterior spaces include a long driveway and small motor court, a long, combination deck and brick terrace that runs the full length along the back of the house and, tucked around the side where it’s bordered by a towering wall of bamboo, a lap-lane swimming pool.
Vaughn has an impressive portfolio of residential properties. He also owns homes in La Canada Flintridge and Manhattan Beach, where he bought former USC football coach Lane Kiffin’s house, as well as a penthouse in Chicago.
