Luxury House No. 1, located atop the Twelve Peaks development at 12 Mount Kellett Road in Hong Kong has just hit the market, selling for $105.67 million. Developer Sun Hung Kai Properties is listing this house which actually isn’t the most expensive house on the market in the world – that distinction belongs to a house in London. At almost $23,000 per square feet, this house in Hong Kong is just reputed to be the world’s most expensive house on a per square foot basis.
The recently constructed house has 4,661 square feet sprawling across four floors. On one side of the living room is a glass canopy overlooking Hong Kong’s famous skyline and, on the other, a view of the garden, private swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms take up the first floor and leave the second floor as an exclusive suite for the master bedroom, bathroom and study. There’s also a rooftop terrace and a two-car carport.
The most expensive home sold to date in Hong Kong was a 5,989 square-foot manse on 10 Pollock’s Path, also located on the Peak.
