Vertu launches its first headphones and wireless speaker. English luxury mobile phone manufacturer teamed up with Bang & Olufsen to design a pair of high-end audio products – the V Speaker and the V Headphones. The V Headphones are super lightweight, utilising aircraft grade aluminium and natural calf leather to deliver a cosseting user experience that frees you from distraction and enables you to be absorbed by the music. Inside each ear cup is a 40mm neodymium driver designed so it sits parallel to your ear, and Bang & Olufsen has tuned the headphones to offer superior audio performance.
The V Speaker is a high-performance audio and hands-free calling device with room-filling power, fine- tuned with the meticulous precision. Battery life for the speaker is a claimed ten hours of music playback on a three-hour charge, and the Bluetooth connection supports aptX, allowing for CD quality sound from compatible devices. There’s also a 3.5mm Aux input if you don’t want to use a wireless connection.
Representing an unequalled combination of luxury materials, craftsmanship and spectacular audio performance, the Vertu Audio Collection epitomises Vertu’s audio credentials already familiar to Vertu owners. The speaker is available in stores now, priced from £400 ($660), while headphones will cost you from £490 ($810).
