It may seem like it’s burnt, but “black burger” is actually the newest item on the menu of Burger King in Japan. This burger is made of black buns, black cheeses, and even the black sauce that goes into burger. “Kuro” means black in Japanese, and accordingly, the original name of these burgers will be “Kuro Pearl Burger” and “Kuro Diamond Burger“. Black burgers were first put into circulation in 2012, but it was only a rehearsal.
“Black burgers are selling because of the color, but the customers always come back for more because of the great taste”, vendors say.
Apparently the black burgers left a good impression on customers so can be found on the menu of Burger King’s restaurants in Japan from 19 September.
