Due to the increasing interest of people to explore the Arctic regions covered with ice, a first trip with luxury cruiser is set for 2016. This unique experience travelers will cost from $20,000 to $155,000. A large cruise ship is planned maiden voyage in 2016 with 900 passengers, and the plan is to pass the arctic northwest passage. “So far, through this passage passed many small expeditions, and even some commercial ships, but never cruisers. Instead of 100, it will have 900 people, said the vice president of Crystal Cruises, Thomas Mazloum, responsible for route planning.
This adventure is planned to start on 16 August 2016, and “Crystal Serenity” cruise ship will embark on a journey through the Northwest Passage, which will connect the route from Anchorage on Alaska to New York. Of course this cruise is already sold out, but organizers still makes a “stand-by” list in case someone cancels this 32-day adventure trip.
