Ralph Lauren can now add coffee shop to his long list of business. No better way to take a break from shopping then enjoy in a cup of coffee. Now, we can do that in Lauren’s style, since American retailer opened its first-ever coffee shop on the second floor of the new Polo Ralph Lauren flagship store overlooking Fifth Avenue in New York City. “The smell of freshly brewed coffee evokes so many memories for me,” Lauren said in a press release, “mostly of time spent with friends and family, the people I love.”
The new coffee shop offers Ralph Lauren’s private coffee blends made with organically-grown beans from Central and South America and Africa, along with a selection teas, fresh juices, pastries, sandwiches and some of the designers favourite sweet treats, such as brownies made using his grandmother’s recipe. It also offers mugs, caps and t-shirts emblazoned with the distinctive green and white logo for Lauren-obsessed souvenir hunters.
