Lincoln Continental Concept from 2002 will be sold at auction in November, which will organize by the auction house RM Auctions. The concept was presented in 2002 at the Motor Show in Los Angeles. It is a combination of retro style and futuristic design. The car is powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine that develops 414Hp with 558 Nm moment. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, and the body is made of aluminum and composites. The car has a control system on all four wheels and “suicide” doors that open to an angle of 90 degrees.
In the ceiling and doors have been installed fiber optic lighting, with a LED technology. A special feature is the electronic opening tailgate in which is a set of Zero Halliburton luggage. In August 2010 the car was sold at RM Auctions for 56,100 dollars at auction Sports & Classics of Monterey with faulty electronics and engine. The car is now in the same situation and can not be registered for road use in the United States. Lincoln Continental concept belongs to the collection of Sam Pack, and at the auction will be offered along with a Lincoln concepts, as well as a Ford concept cars. Auction will be held at November 14 and 15 in Dallas.
