The first Vertu for Bentley smartphone has finally arrived. So, Bentley owners can now purchase new gadget to match with their priceless cars, but this Vertu’s latest expression of luxury and elegance will cost them a whopping £10,700 ($17,000). For that price, they’ll get a smartphone handcrafted from grade-5 titanium, solid sapphire crystal and hand-finished calf leather in the classic Bentley shade of Newmarket Tan, finished with a diamond pattern. The brand’s winged logo is on the front of the device near the microphone.
his special edition will offer access to Vertu’s unique suite of luxury lifestyle services, alongside exclusive Bentley experiences and the latest Bentley content for owners and enthusiasts. Screen savers, start-up screens and the 3D clock will also be inspired by Bentley.
The Android 4.4 operating system powers the phone. This device has a 4.7-inch screen, just like the smaller version of the new iPhone 6, which can be bought for 20 times less amount (£539).
Vertu for Bentley also has 13-megapixel camera, a 64gb hard-drive and a battery with a talktime life of up to 15 hours 30 minutes.
This is the first in a lineup of five phone that will be released as a part of the Vertu for Bentley line. An initial run of 2,000 units will be produced.
