Here is one more “necessary” toy for spoiled, rich kids or for their snobbish parents! A German startup by the name of Jupiduu has designed a 24-carat gold leaf slide called the “Golden Unicorn“. That this isn’t failed investment, proved the fact that the company already received four orders from Dubai. They have to splash out € 9,990 ($12,500) for this golden toy. That equates to $220 per inch of the slide’s 57 inches. But, that wasn’t luxury enough for one customer, who requested a version embellished with ruby, which would be the world’s most expensive children’s slide.
The idea for the regal slide was inspired by Prince George, to whom they gifted its Blue Whale slide. After that, requests started rolling in from commoner parents and customers from Dubai sought slides in gold.
If you’re not fan of snobbish version of slides, you can still purchase their regular versions in blue, pink, green and white for lesser prices – about $240 to $315, depending on the color.
