Bang & Olufsen launched its first Bluetooth speaker featuring its True 360 sound experience and a 24-hour battery life. BeoPlay A2 is a premium Bluetooth speaker that is made to move. Two channels on each side of the BeoPlay A2 speaker gives a full stereo experience although you have such a flat form factor. The placement of the drivers on each side, and the Bang & Olufsen solution called Power Response Enhancement ensure sound radiation around the edges, giving you a True360 sound experience.
The core of the speaker is made out of extruded aluminium. The technique allows for complex cross sections, and ensures an excellent surface finish.
The sleek BeoPlay A2 speaker features an aluminum base flanked by polymer speaker grilles, and a short premium full-grain leather strap for carrying, available in elegant green, pitch black or cool grey.
It measures 4.4 x 14.2 x 25.6 cm (1.7 x 5.6 x 10 inches) and weighs 1.1 kg (2.42 lb).
Spec.: two 3-inch full range drivers, two 3-inch passive bass radiators and two 3/4-inch tweeters – all of which is driven by a 180-Watt amplifier that delivers an effective frequency range of 55Hz to 24kHz.
BeoPlay A2 speaker is available now, priced at €349 ($440).
