Here is something really too nice and really too expensive for all Rolling Stones fans. The legendary British rockers now released a series of limited edition coffee table books going for $5,000 (£3,101). Their illustrative history, simply titled “The Rolling Stones” is limited to 1,150 copies, all signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood and Charlie Watts. The book gathers over 500 pages of photographs and illustrations, both from famous photographers Anton Corbijn, Annie Leibovitz, Gered Mankowitz and Helmut Newton, as well as little-known photographs – many unseen – from The Stones’ personal archives in New York and London.
Also, fans with really deep pocket can purchase one of 75 art editions, which offers the same as the autographed collector’s edition, but comes with a choice of photographic pigment prints, which carry a price tag ranging from $10,000 – $20,000.
Smaller, unsigned copies will sell for $150 and still include “many magical moments,” Jagger said, while Richards called it a “roller coaster” through the band’s 50 year history. So, there’s something for everyone!
