Swiss Hight jeweller Shawish Genève opened its London Flagship store. This store on the Fulham Road in Chelsea serves as the centerpiece of the Shawish Genève experience outside Switzerland. “London is a hyper place for fashionistas, high jewellery and the visionaries that make up the luxury industry. It’s the international glamour factor of the city that inspired us to open here,” says Mohamed Shawesh, co-founder and driving force behind Shawish.
The flagship store from exteriors to the interiors is a work of art. The building’s chic facade is made from glossy black marble and covered with golden flakes that are like mermaids’ tails gleaming in the moonlight. One of the most impressive thing is chandelier hanging from the ceiling right down to the floor. It was made from dozens of crystal tubes that brightly sparkled in the light of the chandelier’s bulbs, creating a northern lights effect.
With the new store on the Fulham Road, an address it shares with Theo Fennell, one of Britain’s most consistently imaginative jewellers, Shawich just have found its spiritual home to some of the finest jewellery outside Switzerland.
Shawish was behind the world’s first all-diamond ring, cut from a single diamond weighing 150 carats, which was debuted to the world in 2011.
