Former England goalkeeper David James, who was declared bankrupt, decided to sell at auction all the football memorabilia he collected during his rich career. James who played for Liverpool, Aston Villa, Wes Ham, Manchester City and Portsmouth went bankrupt in May. Among more than 200 items that will be sold through the Kent-based auction house Hilco, there are shorts, jerseys and footballs. A further 24 personal items unrelated to his career include his Astra van and Raleigh bikes, exercise equipment and a luxury Corum watch.
The forty-four years James has played 55 times for England, and now he is a player and manager at Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters.
Bidding for James’s property shall take place from November 6th to 18th.
