Bicycles are usually bulky and heavy, especially when it comes to electric versions. That’s why the company “Impossible Technology” made a prototype of folding two wheelers that can be packed into a backpack and weighs only five kilograms (11 pounds), and can carry up to 85 kilograms (180 pounds). The secret of flexibility of this bike lies in a special mechanism, and due to its round shape, when opened, it looks like a giant pair of spectacles.
The battery allows reaching a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. As the company claims, it is ideal for all those who use this means of transport when travel to work.
The bike boasts innovative design, without pedals and chain, but if you happen to run out of power, you’ll have to carry it. Another potential problem may be the small wheels that are not very durable when there are adverse weather conditions or holes in the roads.
This project will be finished in about a month, so there is still time to correct all potential defects. White bikes are already sold out, while a version in black can be purchased for $467.
