Hollywood producer Paul Jung Witt has listed his retreat near Big Sur, CA, for $28,8 million. A roughly 95-acre property, built in the early 1990s features the neo-Tuscan main residence with walls of glass which overlooks the ocean. The house was designed by Mickey Muenning, architect of the famed Post Ranch Inn, and measures in at 7,030-square-feet with five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. There are a number of decks and outdoor seating areas. An additional caretaker unit/guesthouse above the garage adds another 864-square feet.
Mr. Witt said his family has enjoyed the home for years. But now that his children are grown, he and his wife don’t need as much space, and plan to stay in another Big Sur property they own. ‘It’s not like I’m giving up Big Sur, at all,’ he said. ‘But someone can enjoy this house more than we can at this time.’
