Luxe Scottsdale resort Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is now offering rentals of an exotic 2010 Ferrari California (worth $229,000). You can drive this ultra-luxe convertible driving machine while cruising Arizona’s famous Route 66 and other scenic stretches. Two hours (up to 100 miles) will cost you $299, six hours (up to 200 miles) $699, while for a full day (7am-11pm, up to 400 miles), you’ll have to pay $1,400.
The resort’s “Seek Adventure” Ferrari rental program comes with a selection of possible tour routes, from a close-by jaunt around celebrity homes in Paradise Valley to a half-day trip north of Sanctuary to Cave Creek and Bartlett Lake (4 hours, 100 miles). Full-day suggested tours include roundtrips to Sedona (8 hours, 288 miles) and to Flagstaff via Route 66 and returning through Tonto National Forest (8 hours, 375 miles).
Two-hour trip have a 100 mile distance limit and six-hour trips have a 200 mile distance limit, with each additional mile costing $2.50.
