Luxury hotel in the form of two crescents, should soon begin to build in Doha. Its construction will cost about billions of pounds. The hotel is called “Silver Pearl”, and are scheduled to be completed by 2022, when Qatar will be hosting the football World Cup. Between the two hotel units will be located the atrium with gardens and great views of the ocean. According to the architectural firm M.Kastedo, the hotel will be luxuriously decorated, with a few expensive restaurants and conference rooms.
At night, the hotel will be illuminated by LED bulbs, which will look like a pearl that is sticking out of the ocean. The hotel will have a private road for cars, and a separate entrance for yachts and helicopters. This is perhaps the most ambitious project in this country so far. However, although the Doha constantly build luxury hotels, tourism in this country is not so developed and there is no need for such unit, yet.
However, the idea is certainly unique, but also complicated to produce. Nevertheless, the company says it will all be over for the World Cup, and its construction will not affect the sea environment.
