TwoRuba is new bar in Hilton Tower Bridge, London, which opened last month and promises an extremely flexible space that seamlessly moves from casual coffee bar during the day, in a sleek casual bar at night. Serving expertly crafted cocktails alongside creative small plates inspired by nearby Borough Market, sophisticated bar and lounge, TwoRuba, brings a dash of glamour and lashings of luxury to Tower Bridge.
The main feature of the bar, “the network architectural metal drapery” has been designed by AfroditiKrassa as as part of its urban rich internal conceptual design for the new popular destination. This curtain works with a central “catwalk” area that connects all three levels of the bar and with the help of which the entire space is articulated. To emphasize this strong sense of space, illuminated pendants rhythmic “dress” ceiling light, leading visitors through space. The combination of a negotiated mudularnog non-fixed network provides maximum flexibility for guests as well as intimate private atmosphere.
AfroditiKrassa’s concept for a luxury bar TwoRuba is based on duality, reflecting the duality and contrast the rich history of the environment in which it is located: Tower Bridge, London, trademark, and the modernity of the surrounding buildings; and on the other hand Bermondzi, although that is now packed with colorful urban, is still deeply rooted in the old crafts and activities such as market place for the exchange of wool, leather and fur. All this is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for the studio when it comes to the choice of materials, texture or pattern for the project.
Based on the concept of urban enrichment, the range of materials is used contrasts: soft luxurious materials such as quilted tanned skin, and deep purple soft leather with a more “hardware” materials such as concrete, copper, brass and wood. Walnut wood gives the impression of warmth and subtle elegance of design, while “Bronze mirror” creates a luxurious ambience of the interior.
AfroditiKrassa goes on contemporary and traditional references: traditional leaded glass windows are an inspiration for diamond patterns, moving the spatial aesthetics and repetitive within the interior.
A new addition to the lower floor is a separate room designed for guests who want a higher level of privacy. The interior is a combination of sexy VIP boxes with materials and details that exude urban style. The diamond pattern forme wall panels that are subtly illuminated.
A perfect place to unwind with a vibrant atmosphere and polished service, TwoRuba is a destination for both sharp-suited City folk and foodies fiends alike.
