When the Grumpy Cat appeared on the Internet, she immediately became a phenomenon that has “infected” users of social networks. Today, this cat earns more than some Hollywood stars. Tardar Sauce (yes, that’s her name) is so popular that she has her own book and the film, which bring a wad of cash primarily to her owner Tabata Bundesen. When two years ago hung video of her grumpy cats on YouTube, Tabata never dreamed that today she will be the richer for the enormous €76 million, how much her cat earned.
Thanks to her face, which, due to disturbances in growth – feline dwarfism, looks like she’s always frowning, this cat has more than one million fans on Facebook. She can be seen on numerous recordings, photographs and photomontages that flooded social media.
In the meantime, Grumpy Cat has become the face of many brands, thus only increasing her popularity, and the bank account to her owner Tabata Bundesen. She was featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal on May 30, 2013 and on the cover of New York magazine on October 7, 2013.
