Unique copy of the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am, which was once owned by actor Burt Reynolds, was sold at auction for nearly half a million dollars. Specifically, Julien’s Auctions is this car, which is otherwise in excellent condition, sold for $480,000. 1977 Pontiac Trans Am was once used to promote the movie, Smokey and the Bandit, and subsequently was donated to famous actor.
In the car, among others, is the gold plate with the inscription “1977 Pontiac Trans Am Owned By Burt Reynolds,” and a special “Bandit” logo.
