Comedian Dennis Miller is selling his renovated beachfront home in Carpinteria, California for $22,5 million, nearly double what he paid for it. Miller and his wife, former model Carolyn Espley-Miller bought the home in 2003 for $11,75 million. According to the WSJ, they purchased this house for its prime location on one of California’s most pristine beaches and its exceptional sense of privacy.
Stunning shingle-style home sits on more than a half-acre of land with 63 feet of beach frontage on the Pacific Ocean and features five bedrooms and five and half bathrooms. Built in 2001, and renovated with a lighter color scheme and new fixtures to “reflect the jaw-dropping sunsets,” the house doesn’t come with furnishings.
Ms. Espley-Miller said that they’re selling the home because “our children are grown and we’re ready to begin a new chapter.”
