Baseball’s Greatest Catcher, Johnny Bench has sold two homes after buying ex-Cardinal Matt Morris’ Florida house. For his golf course estate in Rancho Mirage he got $1.195 million, while his waterfront residence in Naples, Fla., sold for $2.95 million. Bench purchased Rancho Mirage house in 2006 for $1,395,000. The property occupies about half an acre at the Mission Hills Country Club community with lake and fairway views, a pool and spa, a putting green and a batting cage. Nearly 3,600 square feet single-story house features four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms along with an office and a center-island kitchen. The living room has beamed ceilings and a large stone fireplace.

Bench bought the Naples home in 2012 for $2.55 million. Built in 1969 and since updated, the 3,049-square-foot house features three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms along with a great room with 20-foot ceilings, a formal dining room and office. It comes with 170 feet of frontage, a boat dock and lift and a pool with a deck extending over the water on nearly half an acre.
According to reports, Bench purchased a waterfront property in Jupiter, Florida for $3.3 million.
