Land Rover will cease to produce its legendary model Defender in December, although it is considering the possibility to continue its production outside the UK, but before that happens, this off-road vehicle will appear in three new special editions. Defender Heritage Edition is inspired by early Land Rover models, and among other things has Grasmere Green color, and the wheels are in the same color, white roof and Heritage front grille. It will be produced in a limited edition of only 400 copies of Defender Heritage Edition and will be available from August. Prices range from 27,800 pounds($42,200), while available versions are 90 Hard Top, 90 Station Wagon and 110 Station Wagon.
Defender Adventure Edition is designed for those customers with a “go anywhere, do anything” approach, and comes with the additional protection chassis and Goodyear MT / R tires. The series is limited to 600 copies, sales also begins in August, and prices start from 43,495 pounds($66,000), with available 90 and 110 Station Wagon models.
There is also a Defender Autobiography Edition, more luxurious version, which will be available from April. The vehicle has a two-tone exterior and Windsor leather interior, and the engines from 122Hp and 360 Nm to 150Hp and 400 Nm. There will be only 90 Station Wagon version, limited to 80 copies, at a cost of 61,845 pounds($94,000) per copy.
