TV personality Kelly Ripa sold her Soho penthouse for $20 million. Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, who run a production company, bought the penthouse in 2005 for $9.5 million and spent two years renovating it. They listed the home in January for $24.5 million, and sold it after nine months on the market. The buyer of the 6,800-square-foot loft is real estate tycoon Alex Adjmi. Brokers for Adjmi told the Daily News that he bought the place as an investment, which Curbed NY believes implies that Adjmi wants to reconfigure and re-list the home himself.
However, the 5-bedroom apartment in SoHo has high, stamped ceilings, a huge, eat-in gourmet kitchen, two dining rooms for easy entertaining and a big master suite with Jacuzzi. The living room has a dramatic staircase running up one side.
Upstairs, there is a media room, home gym, and an office. The more than 3,000-square-foot rooftop deck includes a grill area, a covered patio, a steam shower and a hot tub.
This luxury penthouse is at 76 Crosby Street. It has a full-time doorman and easy access to SoHo’s main shops on Broadway.
