INU is innovative and stylish example of modern personal tech, debuted at CES 2015. This futuristic electric scooter is designed for short trips within a city or as a complementary option to public transit. Its main feature is ability to unfold in just five seconds, and be ready to go (via gesture or voice using your smartphone). When you arrive somewhere, you can push the button again, and the scooter folds neatly back up.
Also, INU comes equipped with a phone dock, GPS and GSM. So, you can ride up to 40km on a single charge and basically do everything while on the move, including send texts, record video, and even take and share selfies. The “Find my INU” feature allows owners to easily locate their scooter using their mobile device.
Powered by a motor with between 500 and 750W, this eco-friendly vehicle can zip along at up to 25km/h, though riders can also choose to cap top speed at 6km/h or 20km/h. A complete battery charge takes three hours. It will come in three different models with different battery sizes, ranging from €2,999 euros ($3,580) to €4,999 ($6,000).
