Ferrari 275 GTB Competizione from 1966, last weekend, was sold at Bonhams auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, for 9.405 Million US Dollars. That was also a new record sum paid for this model at auctions so far, and it should be noted that this sample is 11th of 12th made and in 1967, this car won the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The chassis number is 09079, while the engine is 3.3-liter V12 with more than 300 horses.
Except for Ferrari 275 GTB Sem Competizione, several Ferrari models has changed owners on aforementioned auction: 1969 Ferrari 365 GTB / 4 Daytona Berlinetta was sold for $748,000, Dino 246 GT for $385,000, 1982 512 BBI for $375,000 1984 512 BBI for $324,500 and 1990 Testarossa for $250,800.
