If you didn’t think macarons were pretty enough already, then the ones made by Pucci for Ladurée will definitely convince you. This year, Ladurée celebrates love with a limited edition signed by Pucci. Yann Menguy, Ladurée’s new chef, created a new rose and lemon macaroon, ( logically – pink and yellow colored). Customers can choose between two different shades of a special edition box customized by Pucci: pink or blue. Paper boxes will be printed with the famous Capri print while some other will be adorned with silk fabric, reproducing the Capri print as well.
From 25th February the limited edition will be available in all the Ladurée shops, priced at €20 ($23) per box of 8 pieces, while the silk boxes, priced at €30 ($34,5) for the same quantity will only be offered in Milan, London, Paris, New York and Tokyo. Without the box, the macarons are €2 ($2,3) a piece.
