In November last year, we wrote about Jeff Greene’s Beverly Hills Compound which was listed for $195 million, making it one of the most expensive residential listings in the country. Now, this mansion known as Palazzo di Amore (Palace of Love) is been listed as a rental with a whopping asking price of $475,000 a month.
Greene, who bought the property in 2007 for $35 million, spent eight years expanding the villa. He finished the second floor of the main house and built a 15,000-square-foot entertainment complex featuring a 50-seat private screening room, a bowling alley and a game room. It can host up to 250 guests for a seated dinner or event. Guests are welcomed to the two-level structure through a floating glass-floor walkway over pools lined by 70 year old mature olive trees.
The main residence has more than 35,000 square feet of living space for a total of about 53,000 square feet, including the entertainment complex and a detached guesthouse. There are 12 bedrooms and 23 bathrooms. Other luxury amenities include a lavish Turkish-style spa, a tennis court and a 128′ long reflecting pool. There’re also two wine cellars (the first can store 3,000 bottles and second can hold about 10,000 bottles and additional barrels), 27 cars garage and on-site parking available for as many as 150 vehicles.
The palatial private gated compound is set on a promontory in the heart of Beverly Hills offering views of the iconic Los Angeles canyons and city lights, just minutes from world-class shopping, dining and entertainment.
