Lotus had earlier announced that in early March at the Geneva Motor Show will showcase “an exciting novelty” featuring light weight and excellent driveability, all integrated in a desirable package. In other words, in Geneva Lotus will in fact promote redesigned Evora, whose first official pictures are now in front of us. The car is called Evora 400, due to the reinforcement 3.5-liter V6 engine 400KS, coupled with a modified six-speed manual transmission or an optional six-speed automatic.
The revised styling includes a new front bumper with larger air slot, a revised grille, LED daytime running lights, a new rear spoiler and a more aggressive rear diffuser, as well as a redesigned and more luxurious interior with lighter seats.
Evora 400 is 22 kg lighter and 30 mm longer compared to the previous model, and is distinguished by improved management.
According to the factory data, the maximum speed is 300 km / h, acceleration from 0 to 60 miles per hour (96 km / h) is 4.1 seconds, and it should be noted that with Evora 400, the Lotus test driver Gavan Kershaw crossed the Hethel track for six seconds faster than the current model.
Lotus Evora 400 will be on sale from August, at a cost of around 70,000 pounds ($109,000).
