Mysterious Mercedes G class that has attracted attention primarily with high ground clearance and large wheels, has been now officially unveiled. Now in front of us, are the official pictures of new Mercedes-Benz G 500 4 × 4² model, which will have its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. This 2980 kg heavy vehicle from 0 to 60mph comes in about 6.5 seconds and can reach 130mph.
The vehicle boasts with the extended wheel arches, larger wheels and off-road tires (22-inch wheels, 325/55 tires), increased ground clearance (450 mm), and a sleek exterior with elements made of carbon fiber, while under the hood is a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with 422Hp at 5350 r / min. and 610 Nm at 2250 to 4700 r / min.
The drive is of course to all four wheels, paired with a seven-speed transmission 7G-tronic automatic transmission. Mercedes-Benz G 500 4 × 4² will be on the British market later this year, and in the UK will cost more than £200,000 or about $308,000.
