Ford and Petty’s Garage have announced that they will make a limited edition of Mustang model, inspired by Petty’s Garage Mustang GT model from the last year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas. The production model will be based on the Mustang GT, and a Stage 1 version will, among other things, get different bumpers, rear spoiler, a set of 20-inch HRE wheels with tires FlowForm Continental, headrests with the logo of the series, special floor mats and Richard Petty signature on the dashboard .
The engine is 5.0-liter V8 which will be upgraded to 627Hp, thanks to Ford Racing / Roush supercharger, reprogrammed ECU and MagnaFlow exhaust system. There will be also a Stage 2 version, that will come with a two-tone exterior, Wilwood brakes, and new alloy wheels. Ford & Petty’s Garage Mustang GT Stage 1 version will be offered in a series of exactly 100 copies, at a price of 62,210 US dollars, and a Stage 2 version in only 43 copies which will cost 92 210 US dollars.
