As has been known for some time, for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, McLaren is preparing a new version of the 650 S, but the official images and specifications of that sports car are already on the Internet. The car carries the 675 LT (Long Tail – in honor of the McLaren F1 GTR “Long Tail” of 1997), and compared to model 650S, it has about 33% different parts.
As for the engine, McLaren 675 LT runs 3.8L twin-turbo V8 with 675KS at 7100 r / min. and 700 Nm at 5,500 to 6,500 r / min., in combination with the seven-speed transmission SSG. News also says that CO2 emissions are 275 grams per kilometer.
McLaren 675 LT has acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.9 seconds, while for 200 km / h it need 7.9 seconds and can reach a maximum of 330 km / h.
Also, the weight was reduced by 100 kg, which means it has a 1230 kg (schedule 42.5 / 57.5%), while the balance of power / weight is 549KS per tonne.
It should be mentioned and dimensions: length 4546 mm, width 2095 mm and height 1188 mm.
The car has undergone and visual changes, so 675 LT has a more aggressive look thanks to aero body package of carbon fiber, while the interior features racing seats made of carbon fiber and Alcantara.
There will be several colors, including White Silica, Delta Red, Green Napier, Chicane Grey and Orange McLaren.
