Designed by renowned architect John Lautner with construction spanning from 1973 to 1980, the 23,366-square-foot home has 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 3 half baths, indoor and outdoor pools, a pond, putting greens and a tennis court.
The Hopes, along with their four children, used the “volcano house” as their second residence and for entertaining guests, since it is huge enough to accommodate up to 300 guests for dinner under an enormous covered terrace.
