First official pictures of the new RS version of the 911 GT3 (991 series), have appeared. The new 911 GT3 RS version, compared to the standard 911 GT3, is distinguished by aerodynamic package (including a new front spoiler, fender extensions, rear spoiler), new hood and roof, smaller mass (including thinner and lighter glass panels), new wheels of 20 and 21 inches (with tires 265/35 ZR 20 front and 325/30 ZR 21 rear).
The car is powered by 4.0 liter six-cylinder engine with 368 kW / 500Hp and 480 Nm of torque. Also, the car has a new sports seats with GT3 RS markings, and buyers of this model will be able to get only seven-speed PDK transmission. The car has a roof made of magnesium, rear windows and side windows made of polycarbonate, the individual elements of plastic and carbon fiber, modified suspension, and a Porsche Torque Vectoring and Plus (PTV Plus) system.
Thanks to all these changes, the 911 GT3 RS has better acceleration (from 0 to 60mph in 3.3 seconds) and can reach a maximum of 199mph. At the end the price, Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Germany will cost 181,690 euros($203,000).
