Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart has just purchased Toluca Lake home, once owned by TV producer Mark Brazill. Stewart has dropped $5.5 million on a recently restored and updated walled house in L.A.’s affluent and celeb-friendly Toluca Lake community. The Spanish-style house was built in 1927 and sits on more than a half-acre. Some 4,800 square feet of interior space features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, living, family and dining rooms with wood floors and a fireplace, and a breakfast room.
There’s a spacious eat-in kitchen with snack bar-equipped center island, high-grade appliances and period tile back splashes.
The property previously changed hands in 2006 for $4.5 million.
