Dior showcased “Pastel Eyes”, the star accessory of the Makeup look featured in the Ready to Wear Spring-Summer 2015 runway show. Makeup artist Peter Philips, who is also the house’s creative and image director of makeup, has focused on the eyes, subtly enhanced it with a next-generation pastel eyeliner. Between Couture finesse and visionary creation, these satin liners illuminate the eye look with an innocent and fresh brightness. Peach, pistachio green, pink or yellow, these 4 pairs of adjustable and multi-wear patches enable to compose a spectacular Couture makeup in one step.
“It’s a piece of satin that’s been laser-cut to fit along the eyes,” he explained how he raised the pastel-makeup trend to a completely different level.
Philips suggests to use tweezers to carefully pick them up, then bend them slightly with your fingers, as you would false lashes, and for more hold apply three tiny drops of lash glue to the outer corners and center. Carefully place them at the lash line.
Known as Dior “Pastel Eyes” Multi-Wear Adhesive Eyeliner strips, they are produced as a limited-edition part of the fashion house’s spring makeup collection that hits counters in January of 2015.
