Dana Owens, better known by her stage name, Queen Latifah is busy with real estates. First, last year, she listed her Colt’s Neck, NJ property, then in the same year she put her vintage jewel-box home in Los Angeles on the market of $1.939 million. Now, her Hollywood Hills home is back up for sale on the open market with lowered price of $1.799 million. Built in 1922, the 2,026 square feet, the 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home oozes charm. There’s a library, a family room, an updated kitchen, and a bonus room.
The inside is thoroughly modern. The home’s French doors, glass-tiled fireplace, vaulted ceilings and mahogany floors are sleek and sophisticated. The master suite has a large walk-in closet and comfortable tile and marble bathroom. Many of the features in the home are new, including the central heating and air.
Tropical plantings enhance the privacy of the gated house, which has an outdoor spa.
Queen just sold her Colt’s Neck, NJ property in February this year for $2,088,500, so we’ll see whether she will be lucky with Hollywood Hills home. Meanwhile, she continues to own an almost 6,780-square-foot Beverly Hills home previously owned by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis and purchased in July 2005 for $5.4 million.
