Jaguar last week with a few official pictures and video teaser announced that will present a new, second-generation of its model XF. That’s happened and in front of us is new XF model for 2016, which will be on display in early April at the Auto Show in New York. Except a new exterior look, 2016 XF also features the new interior with a high level of luxury, comfort and technology, which among other things has a 10.2-inch touchscreen and a new multimedia system InControl Touch Pro.
Specifically, the new XF has a new platform, the design is inspired by the Jaguar XE, while the weight compared to its predecessor is reduced by up to 190 kg. Also, the new XF offers more leg room for passengers and a larger trunk, while in the range of engines will find new Ingenium engines, four-cylinder petrol and diesel.
Diesel engines are a 2.0-liter with 163Hp / 380 Nm and 180Hp / 430 Nm, both can be combined with an eight-speed automatic, as well as improved 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 300Hp / 700 Nm, while the gasoline are 2.0-liter turbo with 240Hp / 340 Nm, 3.0 liter V6 engine with 380Hp and a 5.0-liter V8 with a supercharger. Deliveries of the new XF models are expected in early autumn, but the prices are not stated.
