The Dolce&Gabbana Spring Summer 2015 runway show was a touching tribute to motherhood and the special bonds between mother and child. The design duo’s latest runway presentation for Fall/Winter 2015 saw plenty of Spanish inspired polka dots and ruffles, but also some classic Sicilian and Dolce&Gabbana looks which have been interpreted as a collectible in the form of dolls.
This limited-edition line of collectible porcelain dolls is inspired by the strong Sicilian women so frequently found in D & G’s ad campaigns over the years. So, now you can own your very own Concetta, Immacolata and Addolorata. The dolls are made of handcrafted and painted porcelain, and outfitted in looks straight off D & G’s Spring/Summer 2015 runways.
They’re meant to resemble the dolls available for purchase in the train stations of 1950s Italy, and come in majolica tile inspired box.
Dolce&Gabbana porcelain dolls are limited to only 300 each, priced at $1,570.
