Maison Kitsuné has teamed up with Belgian ‘Haute Chocolaterie’ manufacturer Pierre Marcolini to create an exclusive and refined bento box full of creative sweets. Pierre Marcolini and Kitsuné both share a pioneering, playful and sophisticated sensibility, now at the origin of this dreamy new jewel-like Bento Box. The limited-edition boxes, which are decorated with a Kitsuné fox, take inspiration from the Bento box and contain an assortment of chocolates or macaroons: ten tasty hearts in different colors and a selection of classics from Maison Pierre Marcolini or two trays lined with a selection of macarons.
The box itself features a sliding system that lengthens the body of the fox on the interior trays. The traditional touch is provided by the ‘tenugui’ fabric and ‘furoshiki’ bow that encircles the box.
Also, the Brussels-born chocolatier, Pierre Marcolini will open its first UK flagship store on London’s Marylebone High Street on May 1, 2015.
