Bugaboo have just released details of their collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum to produce a special Bugaboo Bee³ collection. As the inspiration for this great concept for the urban stroller was used the Almond Blossom, painted in 1890, design to represent new life and new beginnings. The result is a fully equipped stroller whose components and accessories are the mobile embodiment of the Almond Blossom painting.
The Bugaboo Bee³ has a green chassis and green leatherette handlebar to reflect the colour of the branches of the Blossom tree. The seat fabric and bassinet fabric is petrol blue like the clear sky in Van Gogh’s painting. The sun canopy, breezy sun canopy and the footmuff are covered in the print of this Almond Blossom painting. They are lined with a complimentary colour inside.
Like the Van Gogh’s work, this collection encourages you to explore the world around you, viewing it from new and different perspectives.
You can choose the Bugaboo Bee³ Complete Van Gogh, with lchassis, seat and sun canopy for €759 ($800), or the same set but with matching carrycot for €989 ($920). Matching accessories include the Bugaboo Bee³ Carrycot Tailored Fabric Set Van Gogh €120 ($127), the Bugaboo Footmuff Van Gogh €134.95 ($143.76) and the Bugaboo Bee³ Breezy Sun Canopy Van Gogh €94.95 ($100.45).
