Recent information from some British media about the new Audi concept car proved to be correct. Audi, at the upcoming Auto Show in Shanghai, will introduce another concept from the Prologue series. Until now, Audi has presented Prologue Coupe, in November last year at the show in Los Angeles, and Prologue Avant, last month in Geneva, while the next week at the Shanghai Audi will present its Prologue Allroad concept model.
Prologue Allroad concept is basically a (pro) SUV version of Avant Prologue Concept from Geneva, which clearance is increased by 77 mm, and has redesigned bumpers, protective elements, five-spoke wheels of 22 inches and an OLED display in the interior. The car is powered by plug-in hybrid propulsion system consisting of a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 TFSI gasoline engine and an electric motor with lithium-ion battery of 14.1 kWh, paired with eight-speed tiptronic transmission and 4×4 drive, with a combined power of 734Hp and 900 Nm of torque.
Acceleration from 0 to 60mph takes 3.5 seconds, and is also possible to drive this car only on the electric drive, when the vehicle can travel up to 54 miles.
