Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts group now offers a new type of travel experience. Announced last year, this is the hotel industry’s first fully branded private jet designed to change up the face of luxury group tours. The metallic black Four Seasons Private Jet is a retrofitted Boeing 757-200ER equipped with a Rolls Royce motor, leased by TCS World Travel and operated under the Four Seasons flag. It accommodates just 52 passengers unlike the 233 which this category of aircraft usually carries. Each of the white leather seats , handcrafted by Italian VIP aircraft seating manufacturer Iacobucci, stretches 6.5 feet, with ample aisle and legroom, and offers 78 inches of personal space.
Also, there are hand-woven woolen carpet made in Amsterdam as well as the blankets made from soft Mongolian cashmere and earphones are by Bose. Passengers are provided with individual iPads for in-flight entertainment and receive Bulgari amenity kits.
The crew is made up of ten people. A dedicated Four Seasons Chef, concierge, doctor and photographer are among the other attendees customers might expect to have at their disposal when they board. Dom Pérignon champagne and Petrossian caviar will be available at any time for those who are peckish between meals.
The jet is currently being used to facilitate a 16-day “Backstage with the Arts” tour that will see passengers visit some of Europe’s most significant cultural attractions, including Milan’s Teatro alla Scala and Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia; accommodation en route is in Four Seasons hotels. That particular trip was priced at $119,000 (about £71,000) per person, with the rate including all flights, meals and overnight stays.
