Danny DeVito quietly sells the Beverly Hills estate he shares ownership with his actress-wife, Rhea Perlman, according to Variety. However, the off-market transaction has the (alleged) buyer who is saud ti be mansion-flipping couple who late last year unloaded a freshly rehabbed Holmby Hills estate for a tetch under $30 million.
Described on its listing as “most remarkable estate in Beverly Hills,” DeVito-Perlman property features the nearly 15,000-square-foot French Country-style mansion which was originally built in the 1930s, and designed by noted architect Wallace Neff.
The home includes five suite bedrooms and seven bathrooms, staff quarters, a 35mm screening room and an extensive office suite. Aside from the main house, the property boasts a complete guest house with additional office and garage.
Outside, new owners will enjoy about two acres of gated and fully landscaped grounds, mature gardens and two separate swimming pools.
In 2007, it was the home’s first time to be offered on the market for almost 2 decades.
