There are houseboats, and then there’s WaterNest 100. Brainchild of Italian architect Giancarlo Zema, this incredible floating house, developed for London-based EcoFloLife was inspired as it name suggest by the the water nests of water birds and their harmony with nature.
WaterNest 100 can be placed on any lake or river and features 1,076 square feet of floor space, enough to accommodate a family of four with two bedrooms plus balconies spanning its two lengthiest sides.
Luxury floating habitat is made from 98% recycled supplies including recycled glued laminated timber and a recycled aluminium hull and powered by a 646 square ft (60 square metres) solar roof.
Built to order, this water nests can including a living room, a dining area, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom, or any other configuration you like.
Prices start at €500,000 ($555,850) and go up to €800,000 ($890,000).
