Roland Iten is the pioneering inventor of mechanical luxury for gentlemen like luxurious belt buckles and many other goodies. But their latest project – R60 Diablo is anything but a simple belt buckle. Introduced at Christie’s Private Sale in Geneva – the R60 Diablo is a stunning mechanical belt buckle incorporating an exceptionally rare 60.66-carat cognac-colored diamond. This creation is a collaboration between Roland Iten and Claude Sfeir, world-renowned jewelry expert and watch collector.
The R60 Diablo belt buckle consists of 109 separate components, all made in 18-karat 5N rose gold, white gold and grade 5 titanium for the chassis architecture. But, of course the main attraction is the exceptional 60.66-carat fancy orange-brown (“cognac”), modified kite-shaped brilliant diamond whose Its natural orange-brown hue is an extremely rare color for a diamond, which automatically puts it among the most sought-after gems by collectors.
The eye catching belt buckle took 8 months to make and will be auctioned soon by Christie’s Geneva.
