This year, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) celebrates its 75th anniversary as the world’s largest aviation association and 60th anniversary of the partnership with Breitling. To commemorate their passion for aviation and long term goal to protect the freedom to fly for thousands of pilots, aircraft owners and enthusiasts, Breitling is honored to launch a special timepiece for its members, the Navitimer AOPA limited edition.
Crafted to reflect the original design, the Navitimer AOPA limited edition which is 42mm in diameter and weighing 79.40 grams (without bracelets and belts) features the association’s logo on the dial and on the caseback, AOPA members can customize their Navitimer with their name and membership number.
New model launches certified COSC mechanism cal.23 (7753), with 25 rubies and a frequency of 4 Hz (28,800 beats per minute). The watch is supplied with a leather belt or a steel bracelet Navitimer. It is water resistance to 30 meters.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this special commemorative timepiece which is limited to only 500 pieces will go to the Breitling Aviation Scholarship Fund for AOPA to help create the next generation of pilots.
