Lavazza has become an official coffee of the French Open tennis tournament. The Italian company, which celebrates its 120th anniversary this year signed a three year agreement to serve their coffee at the Roland Garros stadium. More than 370 Lavazza coffee machines will be installed around the Roland Garros site in Paris, while the brand will also stage product tastings and other on-site promotional events throughout the two-week tournament.
Lavazza has been an official supplier of Wimbledon since 2011 and of the US Open since February. Their tennis association goes a bit beyond grand slams. They have also partnered with the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells and the Rogers Cup in Canada. The brand’s presence at five of the world’s top tennis tournaments will give over two million tennis fans the chance to enjoy authentic Italian coffee.
